At only eleven years of age, Andrés Bermúdez Bueno was working helping his father in his job as an electromechanical technician. One of the companies he offered the service to noticed him and decided to hire him, it was the company Cafés Trueba Pardo.

It was 1989 when Andrés Bermúdez and all his colleagues were fired and compensated after the owners of the company decided to sell it.

Andres Bermudez gathered the compensation, the commission for the sale of the machinery and a loan that he asked for in order to found his own company in Alcala de Guadaira, Seville. It took him two years to set up the company and, at the end of 1991, he inaugurated the operation of the company and the commercialization of AB Café.

Today, the company is made up of more than 30 workers with a working rhythm of 250 tons of coffee per year, distributed among the three component companies: AB Café, Café Santa Cruz and Café INSIGNIA.
