Andrés Bermúdez Bueno was eleven years old when he was already helping his father in his job as an electromechanical technician. This was what made him be hired by one of the companies he served with his father, the company Cafés Trueba Pardo.

Andrés was fired and compensated along with all his colleagues in 1989, because the owners decided to sell the company Cafés Trueba Pardo.

The indemnity, the commission for the sale of the machinery and a loan requested by Andrés Bermúdez, made an amount that he used to found his own company in the town of Alcalá de Guadaíra. During the next two years he was in charge of setting up the company for its operation and at the end of 1991 he started working and marketing AB Café.

Today, more than 30 employees form part of the staff of the Sevillana de Café SL group, working at a rate of 250 tons of coffee per year between the three companies that make up the group: AB Café, Café Santa Cruz and Café INSIGNIA.
