He was only eleven years old when Andrés Bermúdez Bueno was already working with his father, who was an electromechanical technician. This helped him to be hired at Cafés Trueba Pardo, since it was one of the companies he served with his father.

In 1989, the owners of Cafés Trueba Pardo decided to sell the company and all the workers of the company were fired and compensated, Andrés among them.

With the compensation, the commission for the sale of the machinery and a loan requested by Andrés Bermúdez, he was able to set up his own company in Alcalá de Guadaíra. After a couple of years of hard work to get the company up and running, at the end of 1991 he started marketing AB Café.
