This is an Irish whiskey with an alcohol content of 40%. It is a single malt, aged in Caribbean rum casks, from which it takes many nuances to culminate in the production of a different whiskey with personality.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

The first thing that strikes you about the Bushmills Rum Cask Steamship Collection is its clean, golden colour, which is very appetising.

When poured into a glass and allowed to aerate, the smells are sweet and fruity. Pineapple, mango and wood.

Finally, on the palate it is creamy, tropical, with hints of vanilla and cucumber and a caramelised and oaky finish.

A little bit of history about Bushmills Rum Cask Steamship Collection...

This whiskey was born from the inspiration received by the crew of the SS Bushmill's when, during their voyage home, they stopped off on the Caribbean island of St. Vincent, where they were able to appreciate the great virtues of the local rums. At the distillery, they thought, why not add some nuance to our whiskey? And from there, this great distillate was born.
