Why buy Discontinued Cava and Champagne Gramona Imperial Brut

Gramona Imperial Brut is an exquisite sparkling wine that will make you enjoy the delights of great delicacies accompanied by the best glass.

It is by far the best companion to celebrate your great moments and to enhance the beauty of every memory you live with Gramona Imperial Brut.

Made from the Xarel-lo (60%) and Macabeo (40%) varieties, this cava has won accolades for being the Best Wine of Spain by the Peñín Guide, something that happened for the first time with a sparkling wine from the Penedès.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

When you pour a glass of Gramona Imperial Brut, the first thing that catches your eye is its golden colour with a deep golden rim.

On the nose, its aromas of crème anglaise, marzipan and brioche combine with hints of cocoa leaf, caramel and white chocolate, which give way to hints of crystallised stone fruit, dried apricots and some spicy notes such as white pepper and the balsamic tones of fennel, rosemary and bay leaf.

On the palate, it has a fresh entry due to the finesse of the carbonic acidity that makes Gramona Imperial Brut silky, unctuous and lively.

Pairing. How to taste it

To enhance the flavour and aroma of Gramona Imperial Brut we recommend serving it at 10º C in a wide glass to favour oxygenation and expressiveness.

A little bit of history about Gramona Imperial Brut...

The Gramona and Batlle families, winegrowers and winemakers, joined in marriage more than a century ago, giving birth to the first sparkling wines of the house.

Today, they continue to work on the land on which they began to make wines and from which emblematic wines were born, such as III lustros, the first long-aged sparkling wine in the country.
