A little bit of history about Highland Park 10 Years Viking Scars...

The Highland Park distillery was founded by a butcher and church official by day and illicit distiller and whisky smuggler by night until he was hunted down in his own right in 1798, his name was Magnus Eunson.

30 years later, he received his licence to officially distil whisky in a distillery he called Highland Park, not for the Scottish Highlands, but for High Park, the area where he was founded.

The old buildings, 23 warehouses and 2 pagoda ovens that make up Highland Park Distillery are located on an elevated site south of Kirkwall, guarding the town for over 200 years.

Neither long winters, nor raging storms and winds of over 100 miles per hour have prevented Highland Park from remaining the most harmonious whisky.
