This Single Malt Whisky goes back to 1816, when John Johnston and Archibald Campbell built a distillery in what is now as Lagavulin. After the death of Johnston, Campbell sells the merchant Alexander Graham. Today continues with the traditions of the past, following a meticulous preparation process to create a wonderful whiskey.

This whiskey really reflect their place of birth. Dramatic, robust, and energetic as the land and seascape of the island. Islay above all, is associated with the peat. Miles and miles of peat bog in the west of the island provide the raw material whose influence is present in Lagavulin.

 Lagavulin name is an anglicized Gaelic "a'mhuilin lag", meaning "the valley where the mill is." It is the perfect place for lovers of intense aromas of peat and whiskey thrills.

Nose: It's big, highly concentrated, aromatic tones of iodine, sweet spices, sherry and creamy vanilla. Impressive.

Taste: Very thick and rich. A massive mouthful of malt and sherry wine with a good fruity sweetness. Large, powerful peat and oak.

Finish: Durable, spicy finish, figs, dates, peat smoke, and vanilla.
