This whiskey is from Scotland and is produced by the distillery of the same name "Cardhu Distillery", which was officially founded by John Cumming in 1824 by a peasant who had long been engaged in illegal production.
Cardhu Whisky has a golden honey appearance, and full-bodied, with notes of pear and walnuts. This whiskey has an attractive and intriguing personality. In some water - still soft, but less pronounced, reveals some malted cereals, soft wood, mild spices and smoke trails. Soft and nice body. The palate is balanced and smooth. Pleasant at all times, with little or no water. Rather short and dry finish.
