Quemaito liqueur is dark amber in colour with some golden tints. On the nose, intense aromas are perceived, with toasted wood tones combined with sugar candy, spicy and with an important presence of cinnamon and lemon. On the palate, you will enjoy a balanced flavour with a sweet touch of cinnamon, citrus and spices.

Pairing. How to taste it

Quemaito is ideal if you combine it in your cup of coffee to turn it into a traditional Carajillo Quemao. You will also enjoy it on its own with ice because you will be able to perceive its intense aroma and taste of cinnamon and lemon.

A little bit of history about Quemaito...

Quemaito is a liqueur that is made following an old recipe used by the Spanish soldiers who colonised Cuba, who prepared a drink that combined products from the Cuban land with liqueur.

This drink comforted the soldiers and gave them the courage they needed to face combat bravely.

The four Navarro brothers are responsible for rescuing and adapting the recipe. They founded their company in 1999 and in 2010 they launched the now popular Quemaito on the market.
