A little bit of history about Victoria Sin...

The company Victoria, for manufacture of lager beer, was founded by Luis Franquelo Carrasco on September 8, 1928, day of the Virgin of the Victory, in the district of the perchel of the city of Malaga. Its first factory had a daily production capacity of 15,000 liters distributed by Andalusia and Morocco, thanks to its 85 workers. In 1937 the advertising poster with "el gordo de la cerveza" became famous, a typical German tourist who wipes the sweat from his forehead while holding a panama hat and smiles sitting at a table with a large glass of beer with the slogan "Cerveza Victoria, Malagueña y exquisita", an image that became an icon of the city.

In the early 90's, the company was acquired by the Cruzcampo Group and in 1999, this Group was absorbed by Heineken International. However, in 2001 it was forced to get rid of some brands and in 2001 it was sold to the Damm Group.

From 2007 onwards, the sale of barrels and third party bottles was added to the supermarket trade, and in 2017 a new factory was opened in Malaga with more than 3,000 m2.

Today it is mainly sold in the city of Malaga, both in direct sale to the public and for the hotel and catering sector, with a wide variety of formats available to those who want to enjoy it, such as the 33 cl can or the third or fifth bottle.
