Why buy Rum Capitan Morgan Black Spiced
Captain Morgan Black is a liqueur that combines various rums from the Caribbean with cinnamon, cloves, ginger and hints of vanilla, among other spices, to create a dark, dense drink with a sweet touch, ideal to be enjoyed only with the accompaniment of two ice cubes. Its unique flavour is achieved after maturation in double charred oak barrels.d distinctive rich flavour is unforgettable.
Captain Morgan Black is a new twist in the distillery's direction, with a rum that is reminiscent of traditional whisky making processes but with the unmistakable flavour of a powerful rum with a lot of presence.
Henry Morgan, better known as Captain Morgan, holds one of the most legendary maritime narratives. Born in Wales in 1935, his life was spent mostly in the Americas seeking his fortune as a privateer and sailor for the British Army. Jamaica, Costa Rica and Panama were his battlegrounds against the Spanish at the age of 20, services that earned him recognition as Lieutenant Governor in Jamaica by order of King Charles II. It was here that he spent the rest of his life until his death in 1688 in Port Royal, a city that was destroyed by an earthquake four years after his death.
It is this natural disaster that is at the centre of the legend of Captain Morgan. As the story goes, after the powerful earthquake, the captain's coffin descended to the bottom of the ocean forever. However, his soul did not perish like his body, remaining alive and travelling the depths of the sea. Is it true?
Captain Morgan is one of the most renowned distilleries on the planet since its creation in 1944. Its origins are linked to the Seagram's company, which began producing it under the name of The Captain Morgan Rum Company, a title that has sweetened the lives of the inhabitants of countries such as the United States, Spain and Canada.
