Why buy Gin Haswell

Julian Haswell was the manager and directot Old Saint Andrews Ltd (a renowned Whisky company) from 2002 to 2007. In 2007 he founded his own company, Rainbow Chaser Ltd. and released his own gin, Haswells in June 2011.

It is 5 times distilled in small copper stills.

Angelica root, coriander seeds, grains of paradise, juniper berries, lemon peel, licorice root, orange peel (bitter and sweet) and savory are the botanicals used.

This Gin comes in a tear shaped frosted bottle.

It is a simple gin with strong citrus touches, but do not let that fool you, it has a stylish character with weak underlying nuances. In a Gin & Tonic and Martini citrus flavors shining through the drink.

The nose is scented with citrus notes and very weak pepper.

The palate is soft, slightly sweet, and has strong citrus flavors (mainly oranges) with juniper and spices weaker (Angelica).

In the finish citrus continue, but with a dry silky bittersweet ending. A well balanced gin.
