Color: Intense mahogany to bright amber with golden highlights.

Nose: The aroma is fine and dandy. In preseta a great aromatic nose, very balanced intensity, enriched by notes of snuff, nuts and figs, rich in nuances long aging in wood.

Palate: The mouth is deep, full and well balanced, with frank retronasal sensations.

Characteristics

Carlos I Imperial Brandy, is produced from selected holandas, distilled at a maximum alcohol content of 70%, taking special attention and care assembling the holandas as part of its composition. These holandas come from wines that have undergone a thorough quality control prior to distillation in stills of discontinuous production and continuous distillation columns.

This brandy is aged for more than 15 years in 500 liters American oak barrels, previously soaked in sherry wine, Amontillado and Oloroso. The aging is performed by the solera system and by the traditional vintages criaderas and sills, thereby obtaining the typical characteristics of this brandy.
