Why buy Cava Freixenet Carta Nevada Semi Seco

Freixenet Carta Nevada Semi Sec is versatile enough to be used as an aperitif or as an inspirational companion to a delicious meal. A Cava which closes the gap between dry and sweet cava. Freixenet Carta Nevada Semi Sec is a wonderful ingredient for the preparation of sparkling wine cocktails.

Freixenet's roots run deep and are well intertwined in the northeastern region of Spain, Penedès and the history of two of the most prominent families of the wine.

The family winery "Casa Sala" founded in 1861 by Francesc Sala Farré, produced and marketed their wines for customers at a market area in Barcelona and unlike other similar farms that produced wine, exporting much of its production to South America.

Casa Sala was a booming business for years until the late eighties when phylloxera entered the Penedès and dwindled in a few years the yields of the vineyard until it was unprofitable, eventually killing the vine.

As the twentieth century began, having discovered that the foot of American vines were immune to the plague, began replanting throughout Europe by grafting European varieties onto American rootstock vines. At that time the only daughter of Joan Hall, Dolores, "the House Chamber Pubilla" married Pedro Ferrer Bosch of the Ferrer owners for 18 generations of Freixeneda.

Pedro Ferrer, who had a great commercial genius, decided to test the market, which today would be a real market test, launched different brands and evaluated its performance and reception.

They quickly opted for Freixenet, the least desirable in principle for its almost unpronounceable phonics.

Freixenet vineyards are planted to take advantage of the full range of terroir and climate in the region of Catalunya, Penedès, the area where most of the Spanish cavas are produced. From the dry and cold northern mountains, to coastal, moist and warm areas of the south, our vineyards bear the fruit of many varieties of Vitis vinifera. In addition to cultivating their own vineyards, Freixenet also maintains exclusive relationships with winegrowers in the region.

From the Parellada and Macabeo grapes from higher and colder, and the Xarel.lo and Trepat grapes that thrive in thevwarm coastal area, with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the middle regions, Freixenet wines reflect the excellent calcareous soils and ideal conditions that form the character of each bottle.

Typical Cava of the region with equitable 'blend' of native varieties of the Penedès. Cava well balanced, with all the wealth of the great vintages. Taken from the typical varieties of cava, wines from selected vineyards.

Color: The color is straw, clean and bright yellow and bubble, medium size, an a persistent mousse.

It's in the Top 20 of economic and cheap products of Cava and in the Top 1080 of our best seller products.
