In the winemaking process, the temperature is strictly controlled to allow the yeast to naturally sink, in the same way that carbon dioxide and nitrogen avoid contact with oxygen for greater longevity in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting notes. Sight, smell and taste

We are talking about a wine with a greenish yellow colour, with a medium intensity and bright, and a permanent presence of tears.

The aroma is intense with notes of jasmine, white fruit, aniseed and citrus, as well as some softer notes of laurel, fennel and dry grass.

The taste is fresh, acidic and long, in a perfect blend of alcoholic balance, with a citrus and floral aftertaste.

This verdejo is recommended to be consumed between 11°C and 13°C, and is the ideal match for steamed vegetable dishes, salads, cheeses and white meats.

History of the product

The history of this winery has always been closely linked to La Rioja, since its beginnings, when Ramón Bilbao decided to found the winery to which he gave his name.

This winery has pursued a necessary renewal thanks to the social networks under the slogan "remember where you come from", a renewal that has been possible thanks to the generations that have succeeded and that, among other things, have never lost the family touch or the prestige that characterises them.
