Color: color between old mahogany and ebony, very bright.

Nose: intense nose, with notes of vanilla and forest characteristics stubble certainly their long years of aging.

Characteristics

Gran Duque de Alba is the most sold Brandy in Spain in its category, and internationally has a very important distribution, especially in countries like Germany, Italy, USA, Mexico, Venezuela and the Philippines brandy.

A few years ago the Jerez winery launched its Ultrapremium, Gran Duque de Alba Oro. Version Crafted from fine wines distilled spirits (holandas) and largely bred and aged in oak barrels, and to top it, the Duque de Alba becomes the raw material at a time, of the Grand Duque de Alba Oro, advancing by soleraje again through five hatcheries until you get back to the solera.

This brandy is aged for at least 20 years in American oak casks that have raised Don Guido (a Pedro Ximenez with 20 years certified by the Regulatory Council) that give it extraordinary and unique nuances.

It is the best Spanish brandy. A great brandy, served only in snifter of fine crystal, which is capable of providing pleasant moments.

History

The history of Bodegas Williams & Humbert began almost 130 years ago. They were participants in the creation of the Denomination of Origin Jerez-Xeres-Brandy, and today, the winery is recognized as one of the most prestigious producers in the world.

Founded in 1877 by Sir. Alexander Williams, an expert and admirer of Jerez products, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in international relations.

Since then some of the wines and brandies of the house are kept in oak barrels of the highest quality (sills). These form the basis of the current development and upbringing of each of the wines and brandies of Bodegas Williams & Humbert.
