Tobia Winery is an artisan winery, which is intrinsically connected to its founder and "alma mater", Oscar Tobia and Ana Castello, who along with his team have built this project together.

Bodegas Tobia's story began in 1994 when Oscar Tobia gets his family winery. After preparción facilities for both the bottling and shipping, carefully designed winemaking facility that awesome magnificence of the Cantabrian Sierra opens, sheltered from the cold north winds and near the famous river Ebro.

Bodegas Tobia was founded not only a passion for winemaking, but also the love and respect of the renowned Spanish wine region, La Rioja.

Tobia Seleccion is a red wine made from three varieties of grapes typical of the DO Rioja: Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha. This combination of varieties, from different areas of the Rioja, gives the wine complexity and exceptional flavor. The harvest is manual and the wine is aged in French and American oak for 20 months.

The selection of vineyards with particular characteristics to reflect our understanding of the wine: fruit and oak in perfect harmony and symbiosis.

Color: deep purple body with maroon edges.

Nose: persistent and complex, with intense and elegant. Lots of red fruit (especially cherries and currants), flowers and notes of chocolate.

Palate: The palate of this wine is very large, tasty, and well structured with excellent acidity perfectly integrated. The finish is long and persistent.
