History
In 1929, Nestle accepted the option of conserving the surplus coffee beans in Brazil after the fall of Wall Street, and the company's coffee specialist created a delicious cup of coffee by only adding water but maintaining the flavor. Thus, in 1938, they found the answer and Nescafé was born.
The brand's first major customer was the American forces of World War II, who loved this quick, easy and delicious coffee. After the war, Nescafé was exported to France, Great Britain and the United States.
After the 1960s, the brand replaced the Nescafé name in the United States with Taster's Choice, but reintroduced in 2003 under the definitive name of Nescafé Taster's Choice.
Today, more than 23,000 cups of coffee are drunk, which is why Nescafé invests more in sustainable coffee production than any other coffee brand, to address climate change, crop diseases, water shortages and the depopulation of farms and their workers.

Logo and campaigns
The name of Nescafé comes from the fusion of the name of the owner company, Nestlé, and the word coffee, and it is this fusion that we can find as the logo of the company, with an extension of the letter N over the rest of the word.
Throughout its history, Nescafé has starred in several advertising campaigns such as:
- "Propósitos": to inspire the Mexicans to fulfill their goals in 2018, with labels with the 350 most popular purposes of the Mexicans.
- "Barista Romance": to promote and encourage the consumption of its coffee at home.
- "FriendZone Pride": joining everyone who has ever seen their love dream fall apart in the so-called Firend Zone.
